The annual postgraduate horn course of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, open to graduate horn players, is an high-level training program that combines the continuous presence of the main teacher with four sessions led by renowned visiting professors.
Students refine their musicianship and knowledge of horn repertoire under the guidance of distinguished international artists, who bring the unique contribution of their global concert experience.
The many public concerts organized by the School are an integral part of the postgraduate horn program and offer students a valuable opportunity to test the skills they have acquired.
The most talented students may compete for annual scholarships, awarded through an internal competition held in March/April.
Thanks to its high educational standards, the postgraduate horn course provides excellent career prospects for talented young horn players.

The postgraduate horn course is open to musicians who hold a pre-reform (Vecchio Ordinamento) diploma  or a first-level AFAM diploma. Exceptionally talented students may be admitted even if they do not yet hold one of these diplomas.
Auditors are welcome.

The course follows the A.B.CANTA – the freedom of making music – method. This approach, inspired by the great Arnold Jacobs school and developed by Maestro Benucci over the last 15 years, has influenced hundreds of young musicians worldwide.
